flowmaster or hooker

i have a flowmaster 80 series with a 3" catback, soon it will be 3" all the way. i'm thinking of getting a hooker maxflow muffler. do they flow much better than the flowmasters and how do they sound compared to the flowmaster. i will have short tube headers soon and i have no cat.

If you already have a 3'' cat-back with 3'' inlet muffler, no need to waste money to get another muffler where you won't notice the difference.

The maxflow flows like 550 cfm. Whereas Flowmasters 2chamber flows something in the 200-220 cfm range. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I know that Magnaflow flows better than Flowmaster, but it's way to expensive. Hooker's maxflow (like magnaflow) = better flow resulting in more power.

Hooker sounds sissy compared to flowmasters though.

the maxflow ones dont sound too good. the hooker sound clips you hear usually are of hooker aerochambers. they do flow better than the flowmaster though. flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers flow 357 cfm at 28" according to hooker. the maxflow muffler flows 595 cfm according to hooker.

don't hookers sound better without cats than flowmasters without cats because of the waves hitting the baffles? wich would be louder the flowmaster 80 or the hooker maxflow?

every single hooker aerochamber muffler i heard sounded better with a cat, in my opinion. i dont know about the maxflow though. flowmaster 80 would probably be louder.
