header question?

i am in the process of putting together a new exhaust system for my iroc. does anybody have any experience with the edelbrock set up, part EDL-6872

I had them , they were ok, but I wouldn't buy them again, actually I just bought some long tubes.

The quality was good, the fit was excellent. However, on the passenger side, the way the pipes were run on the headers, just seems to get in the way of tune ups. I've seen another brand of header (which I won't name, since they're not good flow wise), that the piping was better routed and made a tune up easier,and less of a chance of wires touching it.

did you install them while the motor was in the car, and if so how difficult was it. thanks

Motor was in. AC was already out. It was pretty straight forward, just took about 6 hrs, getting stuff out the way and getting the old manifolds and y off took the longest.

ok, thanks for the help, im still undecided as to weather or not im doing headers on the 305 or just wait till i have the 383 built.
