I was just curious what aftermarket company has the dual outlets, to their muffler, exiting on the driver's side? I believe SLP does, with a 3" inlet. But, I wasn't sure if they were the only one's. Thanks!

Even though the ones there on ebay look pretty nasty, the whole setup still looks like SLP to me. The shape of the muffler and the bends in the tailpipes look correct to me, although the inlet to the muffler doesn't look like a slip fit. Mine is a slip fit connection there. Maybe they aren't all the same, or i am just seeing the picture wrong.
Hey Z28DJP1987,
what do you use to keep your pipes looking so good? Mine are somewhere in between yours and the ebay ones (dull grey/brownish).

After looking at SLP's website...it does look like an SLP one to me. But, all the SLP's mufflers are stainless steel. So, maybe it is just corrosion or the setup is really old.
Anyway, how do the SLP muffler's sound. I was looking for something alittle deeper, throatier, and louder than my dynomax super turbo.

Gale Banks makes a 2 on the left exhaust for our cars, sounds really good, that's what the one on ebay could be. Do a search on yahoo or something you can probably find their website there, I think they are a little pricey though.
It seemed that who ever owned that car was into the SLP stuff as he is or was selling SLP runners and Headers off the same car. It seems like it be safe to assume it was an SLP. If it wasnt, all the above mentioned exhausts are extremely similar and you most likely couldnt tell the difference between them anyway.

Thanks those SLP pipes are over two years old. I did polish the pipes when new with a very fine sand paper to remove the as rolled finish and after just normal polish or wax.
For those interested the sound is very good at idle, and when you get on it. But very quite when at freeway speeds so not to get on your nerves. A happy user of SLP products.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try hitting mine with some fine sandpaper and then try some polish. So far, polish alone hasn't done anything.
As for the sound, I like it. Not too familiar with the super turbo, but would expect any turbo style muffler to sound similar. The SLP is pretty much right where I want it in terms of volume. It is loud enough that it sounds good, but not so much that it ever bothers me. I guess I could go with the "set's off car alarms" (occasionally) that people seem to say. I'd recommend it, especially since it's one of the less often seen looks.

Flowmaster makes both a 40 series and 80 series with 3 inch inlet and dual 2 1/2 inch outlets on the same side. I have installed a few of these mufflers. This is one I installed a few months back for a customer. The 80 series is quiet the 40 series sounds bad ***. It actually sounds a lot louder then the american thunder system. Had two T/A's with same engine combo's and each system at the same time, the 40 series same side outlet screamed.
