Looking for DEEP tone!

I've got a 89 RS with a TBI 305 mostly stock.
Looking for a catback system, But I've heard sounclips from the hooker system and it's not that deep. What system will give me the deepest tone, the more depth the better. The kind of deepness that tickles your ears. Also I've heard that a 3" inter. pipe adds to depth. Any advice or sound clips would be appreciated...

Slp has a very low tone. Its quiet when you aren't on the gas and it can be flowmaster loud at the top of the rpms. Just cruising it has a mellow tone.

Its stainless steel and will last forever.

My sound clip is there unless dirk took it off for some reason. The tone on the sound clip isn't as accurate as I wanted.

You might look into the MagnaFlow cat-back system, I have one of their mufflers on my truck and it sounds great, nice deep tone, I'm thinking of getting one of their systems for my Camaro soon.

bigger pipe will promote to a deeper sound......so a 3" i-pipe will be deeper although not necessarily louder than a 2 1/2" i-pipe ........you'll pay out the *** for slp or borla so.....see if you can find a good flowmaster 3"catback...they are for sale as a kit installed for about 250 bucks here n florida

Flowmaster 3" sounds like a good choice, I want to be able to hear it idle[not too loud] but a nice rumble ,along with a nice deep mellow tone. I want cherry bomb depth without the muddled sound they give you. Any flowmaster [ 3" ] soundclips out there. Is flowmaster the deepest?

I love the SLP... I wish it was louder at idle... but does have a deep tone. Very few people have given me compliments while at idle, however when at WOT, they say it's a very very nice sound.

Just installed the hooker system.. you will not be disapointed with the sound! I cant tell you how much more agressive and low growling it sounds. I did add a gutted catco 3" cat with it...added a real louder rumble at higher rpm's!

I have to say , hooker catback sounds great!!!!!!!!. It's got the depth I was looking for, as a matter of fact I've never heard a V8 sound soooo nice..Very happy with the hooker system, worth every penny.
