Car: 1991 Z-28
Engine: Can you say stroke?!?!
Transmission: 700-r4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
It all depends on what you plan on doing with the car later on down the road. If you plan on increasing the power a little bit, I'd say go with the 3.5. But if you are looking into doing some major mods, go for the 4 inch. Either way it will sound Kick *** !
Any ways, the system will hook up direclty after the cats. When I got my system, it connected after the Y. The new ones might actaully have a Y pipe with them. Call Mufflex and find out. If not, after the Y there is an adapter that comes with the system to hook the 3inch pipe to the 4inch.
Hope that helps!
