3.5 or 4 inch

im planning on buying a mufflex exhuast for my 91 Z with daul cats. im more interested in sound then power. I curantly have an 80 series and it sound good but the pipes are starting to rust out and id like it louder. How does this system connect to the stock y-pipe..

Axle/Gears: 3.42
It all depends on what you plan on doing with the car later on down the road. If you plan on increasing the power a little bit, I'd say go with the 3.5. But if you are looking into doing some major mods, go for the 4 inch. Either way it will sound Kick *** !

Any ways, the system will hook up direclty after the cats. When I got my system, it connected after the Y. The new ones might actaully have a Y pipe with them. Call Mufflex and find out. If not, after the Y there is an adapter that comes with the system to hook the 3inch pipe to the 4inch.

why not run true duals? a pair of two chamber flowmasters sound killer...especially in 3"
