Allright, i just got my 83 camaro and am now looking into an exhaust system. I found a true dual system from Dynomax on Jegs and was wondring if anyone else has tried it - if so was it good, any problems? It is a 2.25" so i was wondring if that would outflow a single 3" pipe. Has anyone tried it?
Onto headers. What is the difference between shorty and full length headers? Which is better? Do most headers come w/ a Y-Pipe or would i have to purchase that separately?

if it is true duals like you say then you dont need a y-pipe, i think 2.25 dual outflows 3", but not by much. shorty headers are shorter, full length are also just what they say, full length...full length outflow shorty headers, but shorty headers can be easier to install.
