With the SLP 30001 Headers, Which is better to use..Angle Plug Heads or Straight Plug..Looking at Air Flow Research 210cc Street Heads. Also Which Spark Plug Wires would be best to use?

I forgot to ask, Did you have to dimple the headers any for a 1991 ?

You shouldnt have to dimple the headers. If they hit the steering column, then unbolt it and move it.

DO NOT USE ANGLE PLUG HEADS! i made the mistake of buying a set of slp and knowing there were clearance problems... i dimpled headers to no avail. i now have a set of SLP 1 3/4 stainless headers brand new with dimples, that i will be selling! you interested??http://people.ne.mediaone.net/gdm/

87TPI420, I spoke with both SLP and Air Flow Research. They suggested that I use the SLP headers with AFR L-98 angle plugs. Heads I ordered were the 210cc/L-98 Angle Plug.

Anyone else like to chew on this information...Please do

i dunno...what i do know is the slp shorties 1 3/4 stainless, will not fit with my brodix track 1 angle plug heads! thats a fact and i am the proof. i dimpled the headers..got them in with spark plugs in also...but the header tube were sitting rite on the plug end (without the little screw on conductor cap on) so...make absolutely sure before you get them.

just tryin to save you some headaches. i have enough for all of us!
