yes they make one and it's not the 80 series. they make a 40 series crossflow style with stock exiting locations. the part number stamped on the end of the muffler is 42583

#42582 - dual 2.5" in/ dual 2.5"out
#42583 - single 2.5" in/ dual 2.5" out
#43083 - Single 3" in/ dual 2.5" out

Flowmaster part numbers are somewhat intuitive.

These are 2 of the three crossflow 80 series (stock replacement location for 3rd gens.)

4 - Unknown
25 - 2.5"
8 - 80 series
2 - center in/off center out

4 - unknown
30 - 3"
8 - 80 series
3 - off center in/out

This one is a 40 series delta flow.

9 - delta flow technology
4 - Unknown
30 - 3"
4 - 40 series
2 - center in/off center out

Hope this helps

Ok guys why argue over this subject? Flowmaster claims that the 80 series muffler in a stock 82-92 fbody(350) will create 30hp and 40lbs torque. You don't get claims on a 40 series like that (for our cars anyway). So go with facts not fiction. I have an 80 series on my car and if it's any quieter than a 40 it isn't enough to justify. Nuff said.

hahaha if you believe those claims, I have a bridge to sell you...

get whichever one you think looks best.... the single outlet flows and sounds better.. the dual outlets look better. take your pick.
