Are these worth buying for when i install the headers in my car? I've heard stories about header bolts constantly backing out, but are these worth the money? And do they really work?

I would say they're a must if you have an engine bay with AC, smog and all the other junk in the way. Over time, regular bolts tend to loosen, which happened to me, one actually fell out. And I drove around for a long time with an exhaust leak not knowing why. Now my engine bay is free of clutter, tightening bolts every now and then is no big deal.

 

Ok thanks... i dont have any emmitions stuff on my car anymore, but i still have AC and a bunch of other obstructions. I think i will get a set when it comes time to install them.

 

will those bolts fit SLP headers?

 

I didn't check the bolts he listed, but I thought header bolts were header bolts, not sure if they make various sizes????

 

I would assume they will fit the SLP peices... i dont see how SLP headers are any different than any other header set for a SBC.
