Y pipe cracked. New Y pipe or TES?

I have a crack right where the 3 pipes meet. If I can't get it welded, is it worth the cash to go TES (will I really notice a differnce on my bird w/ the mods I have?) or just go for a new y pipe. How cheap can I get a new y pipe? Are there any other cheap alternatives for cat-forward systems?

If you can't afford SLP headers w/ y-pipe now, I would recommend replacing your stock y-pipe with the SLP version. It is well made, 3" in diameter, stainless steel, factory-like install, and cost $169.

That sound reasonable. My bird is no racecar, just my daily driver, so I can't really justify putting 400 headers on it. It is just not worth the hp/$ ratio. Atleast then I would have a 3" y stainless Y pipe. Are you sure that they will work with stock manifolds?

I've had mine for 7 or 8 years, works perfect and is way better than a stock replacement!
