best headers for 383

im having a 383 built for my 85 trans am and i need headers for it. i had a custom 3 inch cat back exhaust made so i would like the headers to bolt up to it. im getting rid of the cat also. someone was telling me to get at least 1 7/8 primaries but i cant kind any that big. id prefer a kit if possible with the headers and y pipe and everything in it. any suggestions?

funny how everybody suggests something w/o even knowing about the engine.

depends, like all SBCs it can be stock (close to) or wild. and your combination is going to be needed to make an educated choice on headers.

I vote for Long Tubes, however - don't buy them if you have a lowered car.

yup your right just because the 350 was stroked a lil and bored out a lil it is not a 350 anymore and therefore not stock. BUT you can put crappy stock heads/cam/intake on one with exhaust manifolds and expect "stock" performance. that is for sure.
