much needed advice....
I'm not sure if it has been posted or not...sorry if it has...but here's my problem...
I have a 1990 Chevy Lumina, 3.1 V6.

When driving the car, there is a "rotten" smell....Also while stopped at a stop light or sign..the car vibrates and while accelerating from the stop position, it vibrates "harder". I was told it was probably a converter problem but i just got it replaced 2 days ago...any suggestions...

Axle/Gears: 3.42 Richmond
You may have a bad FPR. Too much fuel being dumped into the engine causing the bad exhaust smell.
Check for black soot on your tailpipes.
