good headers for my 305??? final descision??

i think i've finally decided on these...then i can leave you guys a lone...i only have a 305 with a performer intake rochester quad
shift kit and 3.42 gears.....and ..should i order these through my local parts store ..or through summit

well, it's just my personal suggestion, but i'd say go with SLP's headers under the group purchase. for only about $75 more, you get stainless steel (the ones you picked will rust unless ceramic coated), and a y-pipe, i'm not sure if the ones you were lookin at have one.

i just thought i'd put it out there for you to think about...

Well, $75 more for the headers and y-pipe, but you still need to buy the install kit.

Coating does more than prevent rust, and SLP's benefit from coating as well.

The Hedmans will be fine for a mild 305.

thanks for the suggestion..but.. yak now ..it really is a mild..305...i was thinking about putting stock manifolds on....but chose to go the header way..i'm not looking to spend a whole lot of money..just looking for something decent to get it on the road...

Sure, 1 1/2 or 1 5/8 inch headers will work very well with your 305. Go for it
