Hooker vs Flowmaster
I'm debating which one to get. I've got an LO3 for now, but i'm building a Vortec 383. The Flowmaster and the Hooker are close in price, so there's not much difference there. I was looking at the Hookers, only because everyone has Flomasters, but I don't really like the tips of the Hookers. I mean, i like the style, with the 2 holes on each side, but the actual tips look ugly. Does any one have any pics of their Hooker or Flomaster on their cars? Thanks,

Ok, I think I'm going to go with the Hooker. Mark, after listening to that sound clip, I think i'm hooked.
Ok, which one is the right size for my car? Also, mark, do you have any pics of your exhaust tips?

All the different part #s they list will fit your car, the only difference is the way they hook to the cat. I got the $200 which has a rectangular 4 bolt flange that hooks to the cat. I had that cut off and welded to my cat.

i have the 80 series flowmaster and it sound amazing. i have never heard the hooker in person, that is why i didn't get that one. right now i have headers, y pipe and the muffler. i have no cat or any other piping. the muffler is right under the pass. seat. it is loud as hell and sounds really nice. in about a week i should be getting the rest of the exhaust put on. i wish i could get you a sound clip. sorry

I don't have any sound clips of my dual hookers, but they sound awesome. It makes my LG4 sound like it's got some power behind it. The sound puts Flowmaster to shame...
