We'll I just recieved my cat-back (no.#16823)
and it sure sounds good. A mild increase on the top with little low end loss. Now for the bad news, Hooker can kiss my *** . This system is supposed to use the stock hangers and tuck up in the tunnel, like I told them maybe on their Mexican camaro's but not on my Van Nuys (box is marked made in Mexico). The muffler shop had to cut 1 1/2" off each side pipe and 1" off the over the axle piece.
Then to top it off the driver side tip would not slide on and had to split it to make it work, the best part, the I pipe is hanging so low I can't clear a speed bump. Tom their "tech" replied only once to my e-mail, his wealth of knowledge lead him to ask the question " is it single or dual exhaust " nothing else. So I asked if Hooker was a company that backed it's product, apparently not, they have not responded at all. Does'nt
matter anyways, they can keep their Mexican made products, sell them where they make them. Only USA MADE from now on.
Ps. I hope some hooker employee reads this and knows Tom from technical.
