cutout gains...
I oredered my cutout last night from summit and was wondering what type of gains i could see with it open...350 vortec heads ported n polished, performer intake, edelbrock headers and y pipe, gutted cat, stock i pipe and flowmaster muffler, i was going to go with 3" pipe but opted for this because of monitary reasons. so what can i expect maybe .2-.3 tenths or so?

Stock what?
Stock LG4? The gains could be substantial, assuming you don't still have the stock y-pipe. Still have the stock LG4 y-pipe? Eh...so-so.
Stock LB9? Eh...so-so.

its not the stock y pipe, its the edel. headers & y pipe, with the stock lg4 i pipe into the flowmaster 80 series muffler, i figure with the tiny lg4 i pipe that the cutout will make quite a noticable difference when open....Can't wait to find out

I have an electric cutout....never been to the track....never had it dyno tested...and really never noticed much of any gains....except it sounds like a NASCAR when i's all the way open.....lol...but.....I love it...!

you think that .2 tenths is too much? even with the stock lg4 2 1/4 i pipe in place? if i had a 3" cat back or something i wouldnt expect much at all.
