I installed the exhaust myself, so you can add labor that a shop would charge you onto the top of the bill:
SLP 1 3/4" headers $480
Installation kit from SLP $80
3" Random Tech. Cat $280
4" Mufflex catback $500
Total: $1340 plus labor and gaskets.

you dont have to rip out all the electronics, just put a non computer controlled HEI and a manual torque converter lockup switch. Rewire your tach, disconnect the SES light, and put a fuel pressure regulator on with a return line. This is all I did to switch to a carb.
Exhaust: 330-headers, 250 3inch cat installed with bigger Y pipe, 240 flowmaster

When I get my headers connected (I will install them) to the y-pipe and connected to my cat-back, I will be over $1000.00, also. From the results of all the tests, and readings about headers w/cat-back: this is one of the best ways to "wake up" your engine. Yes, it's worth it for the gains. If you read my previous post, I'm doing mine in "stages". My free-flow cat, and exhaust system opened up the bottom end, and can't wait to get the headers on! Every mod gets me closer to my 11 sec goal!

I don't know where you are located. I had mine done in Reno NV @ T & L muffler & brake. I have stock exaust manifolds but they put on all 3" from the Y pipes to the tail pipes with chrome tips, a high flow cat and high flow muffler. The install would have been done in one afternoon but the muffler had to be special ordered and was done by noon the next day. Total cost was $700. Very happy the car sounds throughty but not loud. They even painted the welds so they couldn't be seen.
