Ok, that car sounded SWEEEEEET. I want my car to have half the snarl that car had, but I don't know how to do it. Anyone know what kind of exhaust the thing had, or if it was even real? G0d knows it was probably a sound effect.
I, myself, IMO, thought that is the only Ford i would ever own. You gotta admit the thing sounded and looked nice, even if your a diehard Chevy fan.

I just want the Go-Go Gadget Anti-Skid System. I have never seen an enigne wound that tight in like 2nd gear, swerving through the construction area, and not slide. Not even at 160 through the water, it didn't slide. But, that was one bad sounding machine. I don't know that you could replicate the exhaust note. Every engine is different.

I just had to say this but, there isn't a stock Camaro that I would choose over that car, and I love Camaro's especially the 1st gens.

I think a '69 Yenko ZL1 or '68 Yenko with the Stingray hood would come over that Mustang. My grandpa had a '66 Shelby GT350 but it sounded nothing like that. That Mustang in 60 seconds was one bad car with one sweet sounding exhaust note.
My stepdad has a '79 Z with headers and 2.5" pipes, Crane Cam, and Ebelbrock Intake/Quardjet. It has that kind of snarl too. It really growled when his friend (previous owner) had a blower with a 950 Holly on there.

IMO and ITO of many I know, SBC's sound much better with the right setup. M*****g's are just loud sounding like an obnoxious V6 with no muffler or with open headers. I've heard SBC's that sound like they have way more ci., like in the big blocks from the 60's and 70's and just have a rumble, a bassy sound like no other, loud or not. I and others that have compared around here, and its always the same. The Camaro or FB sounds better no matter what generation, same with all the 60's and 70's musclecars compared to them.

I don't care what anyone says, I love any car from about 75 and down. The mustangs from 64 1/2 to 70 were beautiful cars as were most of the cars back then. But the F Body is the only car that I have truly loved every form it's taken. Except really the fourth gen, I don't know why but I just don't really like the bodies, I'd probably still drive one, especially if it were an LS1.
