Adding Duals/Hp Increase?
Adding Duals/Hp Increase?
K guys i got an 89 rs(ignore the sig) it has a 350 in it with headers(not sure what kind), edelbrock 600cfm carb and performer intake. Well it ahs headers running into a 3" y pipe and into one pro-flow muffler. My question is how much hp gains or performance diff. will i feel by adding a dual exhaust(most likely flowmasters) and how much would this run me around. I have someone to install it? Thanks guys
Anybody
Anybody, i have about 400 dollars right now so if anyone can help hear. I have headers going into a y pipe with a single muffler. How much would it cost to get duals from flowmaster and how much?

I'd say stick with what you have, if you already have a 3'' cat-back.
Until you get a set of great flowing heads and a high lift cam, I wouldn't worry about dual exhaust.

i would agree. on a stock motor headers are an excellent upgrade but duals just wont be that big of a gain to even make them worthwile to me. unless you motor has a bunch of goodies on it and really needs to breathe i wouldnt waste the money or effort.
