Hey guys, I was just wondering- I hear that long tube headers are only for dual exhaust, so should I just get shorty headers and work my way back for an '83 Berlinetta 305 4bbl? Thanks alot for helpin the rookie!
I was also thinking about the edelbrock ones, would anyone else know a brand that's low in price but has all the emissions stuff? Or could I get away without it in Pennsylvania???

With long tubes you will loose torque, and might have a problem with ground clearance, go with shorty.

What about speed bumps? Can you even make it over them at all? I mean i've scraped my cat on some and it's pretty much the standard exhaust, maybe the car is lowered about an 1" due to old springs settling, but still.

Long tubes are better for torque.

Go with Shorty's unless it's a full out drag car. someone measured for me a while back and they had 4" of clearance. on stock springs.
