I have a 3'' Monza Pacesetter catback... what size is the inlet?

The reason why I ask if becuase I wanna keep the Monza Catback on there, but change the muffler to a Hooker Aerochamber muffler. I am looking at hooker's webpage now and they have one areachamber that is 2.25 in and 2.5 dual out and the other is 2.5 in and 2.25 dual out. Which do I get?

Wouldn't my inlet be 3'' becuase I have a 3'' cat back???

Help me here, thanx.

I don't know, when i ordered my Hooker i got the Super comp. type. It was 85 bucks and the inlet was like 2.75! It is on now and it's really quiet compared to my flowmaster 80 series

Measure around the outside of your pipe and apply this formula.

diameter = circumference/3.14

Example D = 9.42/3.14
D = 3"

So a 3inch pipe outside cirumference is 9.42 inches.

you can't get the 3" crossflow from them unless you had their catback. Try to tell them you have the catback and the muffler rusted or something. Maybe they'll let you buy it.
