I just got my car back after getting edel headers, catco 3" cat, and edel 3" cat back.
Questions
When driving at hirh speeds and I let off the gas I get a pop pop pop, Normal?
When I just start the car still cold, wanted to hear the sound of system, reved it up when got off the gas rpms dived down fast felt like going to stall the idel kicked back in, normal for cold engine or bad TPS, IAC?
I know edelbrock isn't the best, but on my 305 tbi what a differance. I don't know if the car really has much more ***** or if I just think it does cause it sounds like it, either way im happy.

 

i cant be a realiable source but ill take a stab..the pop pop pop could be unburned fuel conbusting in the exhaust....wich is normal..i LOVE THAT SOUND...it happens when i'm in second gear and let off and nose dive...its awsome....i've heard that putting headers on leans the mixture a little bit..maybee its messin with your setup..i'm not sure though....just some things to think about ...

That sound is usually when your exhaust is too big. You prob don't have enough back pressure.
