How bad am i hurting my performance???

How bad am i hurting my performance???

If i am hurting it at all. I just put a 3 inch cat on my car to go along with the SLP headers and 3 inch catback. My question is, How bad is the cat gonna hurt my performance? I have to have one, because i have to pass emissions. thanks alot

Not that much to worry about, sounds like you have a good exhaust system and you said
EMISSIONS.

I think Chevy Hi Performance did a few dyno tests on the removal of cats, and at most they only gained like 5 HP and 7 ft-lbs of torque, sometimes not even that.

Well, i have the 3 inch cat on and i dont htink it is hurting performance too much. I got the 14 inch slip on version($46 with discount) and just welded it in place rather than paying over $100 for the big long obese one that is normally on them
