Hey guys, I just got an '83 Camaro, 305 4-barrel. I was wondering what the stock size exhaust pipes are for it- are they 2 1/4 or 2 1/2, I've seen both on the board and I was wondering. Also- would it be sensible to size up the exhaust to a 2.5 or a 3 inch system, I have a low budget (high school student) so go easy on me. One last question, how much emissions would I lose if I didnt get headers with the AIR tubes connected, I found some used ones around here but I think we have emissions tests here in Pennsylvania- would I still be able to pass? If the system is stock it should have th 4 bolt cat with 2 3/4 intermidiate with a 2 1/4 into 3" cat. As far as a.i.r. tubes go I think as long as the cat is working you should still pass.
