Flomaster Cat back - 2 cats question
Dynomax Cat back - 2 cats question
My car has 2 cats, and stock rotted exhaust. I plan on getting headers w/ y pipe, and for added clearance and cost savings convert to a single 3 inch cat. I already bought the dynomax cat back for dual cats (not installed), I figure there will be plenty of welding to install the new converter and such and my question is how will the dynomax system mate up to a single converter rather than a dual converter system? Will it be much shorter, or offset too much?
Will I be losing lots of HP as a result of going from dual to single cats (want to get SFC's and expect greater room as result). The car is currently a generally stock 89 formula 350, but intend to build a stroker with vortec heads eventually.
Thanks
