Rattling?!?

It's been doing this for a while now. Every once and a while I hear a rattle coming from the passenger side underneath the car. Especially when I go in between 2 cars (when your exhaust echoes). Is this my cat. conv. going bad. I'd appreciate any help on this because it is driving me crazy!

on your cat, there is an oxygen sensor tube that plugs in about the middle of the convertor. Sometimes that tube can come loose and slap against the side of your cat, causing a rattling sound. This happened to me. To fix this (if thats your problem), get some rivet clamps and bond the tube to the side of your cat. The rattle could also be worn out baffles in your muffler...
