would it be possible to get the mufflex 4 inch system but a muffler with dual 3 inch pipes?

As far as I know, yes. You can get it with either dual 3 inch or 4 inch pipes. Also with either flowmaster or Spintech mufflers. Get a hold of them, they can tell you more on it.

i have a custom 4" system with no problems.........many other people in my area as well from 3rd to 4thgen setups.

i am running a spintech muffler as well, however it's a single 4" out. you will have to check about the dual look.
