Did I get screwed by SLP?

I just got my SLP 1 3/4" headers w/ AIR (PN30001) to go on the 350 I'm putting into my 92 RS and what I got wasn't what was in the picture on the website. The headers appear correct, but the crossover is three pieces of pipe and no 2-into-1 collector! What the heck am I supposed to do with that way out here in the middle of the Pacific? I know a lot of you are running SLPs, so is this right or not?
Thanks for the assist.

Mike

They probably sent you the ones for dual cat cars. Call them up and have them send you the headers for single cat cars.

Car: 91 Camaro RS Update: Sold Camaro, now own a "91" Corvette.
Engine: Corvette L98 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
SLP sent me the wrong Y-Pipe the first time. Had to pay about $20 to send it back and wait 4 more weeks for the right one.

GKK,
They made you pay for their screw up? That sounds like BS!

Yeah, sounds like you definately got the dual cat version. Have fun dealing with their customer service.

Well you can't expect them to know that your car doesn't have dual cats. You have to specify that it has a single one.

SLP makes good on its mistake

Well, in the end, I can't apologize to SLP enough for slamming them before they had a chance to make restitution. I ordered through Roy at Third Gen Resources, one of our web-site sponsors, and the order was correct at the time. SLP packed the wrong crossovers. I went through Roy at TGR for help resolving the problem and SLP's response was excellent and immediate. I even had a phone call to me from one of their customer service reps apologizing and letting me know the correct parts were being sent express. I should have them this weekend, only a minor delay in the process that's had plenty of delays already.
So, in summary, SLP has been excellent in admitting their error and sending out the correct parts in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Also, may thanks to Roy of TGR for all his help in making it happen. It's a fine business he's running.

I just ordered my LS6 intake manifold for my LS1 less than a week ago and it came exactly as I had ordered 2 days ago. I am happy with their service, but I have heard from other people that their customer service sucks!
