Hooker LT's hitting oil cooler hose...
My hooker LT's are hitting the hose on the oil cooler. Any sugestions on what to do? I was thinking a new sandwich adapter that summit sells but will this work? It says its for It looks smaller than the ones we have in our car.
Its part # TDR-1313 and description:
For use on engines with 3/4 in.-16 threads, 1 in. thick, single filter, oil sandwhich adapter
By installing this oil sandwich adapter between your engine block and oil filter, it'll route your oil through an oil cooler, yet keep your filter mounting in the OEM location. It has a inline pressure responsive bypass valve to protect your engine from oil starvation during extremely cold start conditions. It's 1 in. tall, and has 3/8 in. NPT inlet and outlet connections. It easilty attaches to your engine’s 3/4 in.-16 oil filter mount with an o-ring seal.
