I was waundring how much difference between a third gen muffler and a 4th gen muffler were, im asking because at the moment i have a hooker cat back and love it to death, my car isthe only one in our area running this exhaust but now a buddy of mine wants it, I like being diffrent so I thought about ordering a 4th gen corsica cat back and just using the muffler. Any thoughts comments words of advice?

If all you are using is the muffler, it should work. I used the DynoMax muffler from my buddies 98 TA to do some dyno test and it hooked up fine. As long as the inlet and outlet pipe diameters are the same, it should work.

Geez, it better get 80 more horse and sound like a jet for that kind of cash.
I think I'll stick with open headers, costs less...
Id think it would fit, just look at an application chart to get the dimentions of both stock exhausts and where the inlets and outlets are. I would just stick with the hooker if you like it and spend the money elsewhere. $700 goes a ways when buying engine parts
