what to do with my 305
ok, i want to get more sound out of my 305 and get some performance while i am at it. i am wonderin which route to go, some of my friends have glass packs and they sound bad as hell but i am wonderin if i should get those or jus get a good flowmaster/borla/or whatever other kind of exhaust i can find, also what else can i do to help get a little power out of the engine, i would like to spend less than 250 on the upgrade part. thanks

well, flowmaster will give u a deep sound, and they are cheap as crap, and are better flowing then stock. and will work fine until u start with heavy mods. borla is stainless and sounds awsome, however it comes with a heavy price. flowmaster should be ok for ur engine, or if u want to increase ur top end more, then look at dynomax or magnaflow.

3 words, CHERRY BOMB VORTEX. I think people would be real suprised on how decent these things sound, real low, and somewhat loud

Welcome aboard,
I guess you can rule out headers for less than $250, you could buy the Hooker cat-back the cheapest one, which I did and had it welded on. Cost $200 for the cat-back and has a low rumble at idle but loud when you get on it.
