If I install a smog pump delete pulley and cap of my air injection at the manifolds and cat, can I remove the A.I.R. diverter vale and unhook the harness with out any effects on the stock ECM, or will it set off a code and check engine light? thanks guys!

Yes, the ECM only switches power to the solinoids, it doesn't look for a return voltage or signal to make sure they are there or operating.
