Loudest most agressive exhaust

I want to put the loudest most agressive exhaust on my 305 Trans Am. What kind of exhaust should I look for? I heard the 80's Flows are loud. I don't want a high pitched exhaust though. I've already owned a rice toyota. What do you guys think?

I would love straight pipes but I live in CA. The strictest smog rules. I have to keep the cats on. I want dual exhaust but want to know what the most loudest and agressive exhaust set-up out there. I want to be heard with the rumble a couple blocks aways.

i think the dynomax that HE is talking about is Supposed to be a little bit quieter then straight pipes. almost a racing muffler. its gonna be loud.

dynomax flows well but that doesn't mean its loud. They do have a louder version if you ask them.

Mac. Very loud and very agressive tone too. Kinda like a cross between Borla and Flows. Here's some numbers:

Mac 361.06 cfm; Dynomax 315.81 cfm; Flowmaster 257.73 cfm
-by Fred Simpson @ Sound Eng. (25" H20, 71% humitdity, 84*)
-C-5 in what condititions did Dynomax make 1000cfm????

Mac 85dB; Dynomax 80dB; Flowmaster 87dB
- by Olson sound testing on a 89 Mustang @ 2000rpm.

Hey I like Flows too, it's just that everyone has them and they don't flow all that great. They are a very good value and tone though.

12in dynomax race bullets. A buddy of mine just put these on his 70 camaro (355, edelbrock heads, weiand 142, etc). It has dual 3in with those mufflers and dumps right in front of the rear end...it is extremely loud and has a wicked bark to it.

sort of. In states that require a muffler, the resonator can be considered a muffler, but in states that also have noise laws, its not very legal.

Yea I read about those. I was wondering if they were any good. How much do those things usually cost?

They don't make single chamber flowmasters anymore. And if the do they aren't called 30 series anymore.

If they do still make them they are probably pretty hard to find. I can't decide whether I should get the 40's or 80's. I have a 40's on my truck but it tends to have a higher pitch scream at high rpm. This might be the vehicle causing this but I read that others had this with the 40's. Are the 80's as loud as the 40's or louder? I heard they are very deep which is what I am looking for.

What hooker muffler do your recommend? I want to change my cats to free flow but I thought it was illegal to change the cats unless they do not work anymore.

I have headmen headers running into a Y-Pipe then whre the cat was i put in a glasspack the run down the intermediate pipe into a "T" connector and out dual tail pipes. does this sounds liek a good loud setup? will it even work?

I have a custom y pipe and one 3 1/2 inch one chamber right past my transmission. It is ungodly loud. Louder than almost any mustang with two 2 inch one chambers
