i just got a used vortex cherry bomb muffler that i was going to have put on my car and i also needed my y pipe cut so it will stup pushing the i-pipe into that beam in the middle of the car and pinging. so my exhaust guy that i know pretty well and is a friend of mine sais he doesnt really want to mess with cutting off the muffler and welding it on since its right under the gas tank. he sais if he does that then he will put a new i-pipe on it so he wont have to weld on the muffler under the tank. and if he does this then he sais i should go with a 3 inch i-pipe witch i agree but all of that will cost alot he said, and if i let him keep my y-pipe and my muffler then he could probably run me true duals for about the same price. he hasnt really looked at my car yet though so i dont think he realizes how low it is. how much should i be looking to pay for the duals? im not sure what i should do because i dont have very much money to spend on this. what do true duals sound like? how much louder would it be than my vortex muffler? thanks
