91 rs 305 5speed

Want to improve my stock exhaust and still pass smog in California. I like the loud sound of the earlier musclecars and was looking for something that could give me something like it. does anybody have any recommendations? Shop to get it done in Nor Cal.?

 

ah im planning on using the edelbrock 3inch system suppose to be 50 state legal. Im also getting a dynomax high flow cat an borla cat back but i havent gotten a chance to order yet(need more $)

 

If you get headers MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE AIR INJECTOR TUBES... edelbrock and SLP have them for under $400 a set... a HIGH-FLOW cat is a MUST (otherwise you won't find a major improvement)... Y-pipe for the headers should be pretty much unuversal $120 or less.. and the 3 inch cat-back will pass If you have the cat

 

I would suggest the Banks cat back system..all stainless,has a great throaty tone to it and is very inexpensive for a stainless system.
