EdelB Tes+stock now...going true dual (a bit long)

This is where I'm at with my car now. 35K miles on my 1LE. I just finished an ATI P1SC install, running a Crane AFPR and EdelB TES headers and Flowmaster catback now. I'm looking for a good set of NON air tube headers that will also allow me to run true dual. I have a guy that does alot of custom cars and he's done true duals on an 85 camaro and a 91 Z. He said he's running 1 chamber mufflers and that's too loud for me, I'm looking at a 2 or 3 if possible. If you guys have input on a good set of headers and mufflers please let me know. 1 Last question, will going true dual eliminate me from using subframe connectors?? Thanks again,

you might have trouble with true-dual and subframe connectors. Are you looking for long or shorty headers.... I might suggest that you look at later-model CHEVY TRUCK headers... they will fit the engine...and they usually have about the length you need ...
Good Luck

Look into Hooker long tubes, and read traxion's post about his install.

Mubie,

Glad to hear your P1SC install went smoothly.

Click on my license plate in my sig, then on the Exhaust link. I think you'll be surprised to see my system. I'm running a pair of polished chambered mufflers. Here's a teaser pic:

Willie, couldn't have stayed sane while I did it without your input. When I needed answers you and the rest of the guys came through. I'll be happy this year when I enter Super Chevy May 25th in Epping, NH. I wouldn't mind either coming home with an award or even a few kills on the track...preferably not me. I'm sure I'll chat you up again when I go through with my dual exhaust. I've actually put the project on hold since I first posted. I already dropped a good amount of scratch on this blower setup and will probably wait till winter again for my next mod...hmmm..maybe even the 4 bolt 383 I've been wanting to build.
