Getting as close to stock
Any body have a recommendation on an aftermarket exhaust that is as close to the stock setup. Looking for the way the pipes were cut etc. The stock one piece muffler/tailpipe setup in NLA and the few I found were very pricey. I am trying to restore the car to as close to stock as I can without being gouged. 89 IROC 5.7L. TNX

well the dynomax system has the tail pipes like the factory setup, they turn down at the ends and the muffler itself is not that loud if you were to use it. i believe the tail piipes are available seperate.

I would also say that Dynomax is the closest thing to stock, and probably the best flowing exhaust you can buy.
