question about AIR
Someone on another web site i am a member at told me there was a artical about using a belt made for a 96 Plymouth Minivan to delete the air pump pully..searching finds nothing and im a little unclear with the tech artical on this site..anyone know of any good links or anything about the above belt?
Also in the tech artical..it says If you have an underdrive pully you will need Dayco pn# 935K6 which is actually shorter than the stock belt by one inch. ...this didnt come stock on any cars right? its only a aftermarket deal? Thanks for any insight

Thats just a belt size, I'm sure it came on some car at some point in time. Just write that down and take it to autozone or some other auto parts store and they should be able to get you what you need.
when i deleted the air pump on my car i had to get a bigger belt, i believe it was like 2 inches bigger.
my belt routing goes as follows.
over the a/c pulley, under the idler pulley, over the alternator, under the power steering, over the water pump, under the crank and back to the over the a/c pulley.
my stock routing before i deleted the a/c was:
over the a/c, under the ilder, over the alternator, under the power steering, under the crank, over the water pump, under the smog pump and back over the a/c pump.
if your car is stock then underdrive pullies dont apply.
