y-pipe help Will this Work?

Well i got a pair of shorty headers on my car(not sure the brand) and im having a hard time with the exhaust. It has a 2" non manfrel y-ipe on it right now. And do to an oil pan prob(gonna be fixed later after lt1 swap in august) cant get any bigger then the 2". I was wondering if this would work. Running 2.5" or 3" mandrel bends off the headers run them both back right after the oil pan. Then connect them with a 3" flowmaster collector and then jsut buy the 3" american thunder kit. Anyone think this would work? Ground clearance be an issue(got 275s in the back and 225s in the front)? Any help is appreciated

it could be done. just check for clearance around your trans and crossmember. My single set-up was dual 2 1/2 run to a Flowmaster y where my cat was. Worked good, I just wanted LT's.
