Exhaust coatings

Has anyone ever used the ceramic hi heat coatings that you can get from JC Whitney? Its suitable up to +2400 F and only costs like 13$ Is it any good? Its a lot cheaper than paying to get your headers coated from other places

Those hi temp coatings in spray cans don't work. Getting them Jet-hot coated it worth it, but if you don't have the money to do that (I don't) then I've heard good things about POR-15's hi temp paint. I'm going to paint my hedman longtubes with that before I put them on. I'll let you know how it works out.

I didn't know that, maybe it will work better than the stuff in a can. You might want to check out the POR-15 stuff though.

They sell it direct from their website.

If you end up going with it let me know how it works.
