Today I had my flowtech headers on my block drove it with just the headers to the shop to find out that they can't do the dual exhaust with the shape of the headers. I purchase some more practical headers and install them in the parking lot bring it back to the shop and he says that they are much better and will get started on it soon.

I check back 2 hours later, he has it up on a lift and both pipes started and he lets me know that the placement of both mufflers are going to be right before the rear axle and the exhaust side shot down into the ground so that everything will be concealed.

We agreed for his work and the piping together will cost 150$ to have my mufflers mounted and installed, so tomorrow I will have 2.5 inch dual exhaust on my 350 camaro. Im really looking foreward to driving it thought you guys might want to hear about it.


does 150$ for the work and pipe seem a good price?

oh and to top it off he said since I had 0 pollution control that he will pass me since hes done the work on the car and doesn't mind passing a car with no cats and no pollution control, so that also made me happy.

 

oh yeah, I had to pay $850 for mine and its nothing too special either

 

what is the reason he couldt do the duals on your flowtechs? What shape were they?

 

I originally had the 11102flt i think, the driver side collector was directed towards the front. I still used flowtech just a different model.
