hedman hedders dont fit!!!

hedman hedders dont fit!!!

i bought hedman long tubes but they dont fit.

i just dropped in a new motor (350) and put the hedders on. passenger side is fine, but the drivers side is hitting on the where the lower control arm connects to the frame. is this a comon problem? i tried to search but didnt see anything. thanks for your help

Yeah ive heard and seen it on here, the primary hits the top of the k member, just trim it down so it will fit. ill try to find a pic and post it.

Do a search for Hedman longtubes, put 1990GTA for the user name in the search. There should be a post there titled "I have no idea what headers to get..." by 84customZ28, check that post out, I have some pictures of the same headers you have that I just installed. There is even a couple pics of the K-member trimmed, I also had to "modify"the very back primary on the driver side with a BFH to clear a part that could not be trimmed.
