blown head gasket-fixed but will anti-freezze in pipes....
HELP!!
ok i put the new head gaskets on the car... let the car run for 15mins (at idle) open headers so it would be EZer to retorque the heads when it was running it was running nice and strong. put the headers back on started it up and it started smokeing like a bitch otu the tail pipes and some anti-frezze came out. let it just just a little bit more like and hour later and the anti-frezze stopped out of the pipes. what i want to know is could it still be smokeing cuz of all the anti-frezze in the cat and muffler??? will this go away? what the hell is going on... i'm sooooo confuesed and pissed...
PS i took the belt off and ran the car (so the pump wouldn't be pumpping) and it still did it. and it doesn't do it when it fist starts up like it use to...
AND the motor dies when i put it into gear!

this happend to my car when my dad first got it.. .there was a slight crack in the block and allowed for the anti freeze to get inside the exhaust... i dont know why, but when i took off my exhaust recently, there was no rust on it.. just brow dust... the pipes looked new and the only part that looked like crap were the slashed tail pipes. It might not be a bad thing? hehehe.
about the belt and pump? what pump? the AIR pump?
and the car not dying when you put it into gear wont really have anything to do with the anti freeze... that sounds more like another problem then one big one.
