only thing i can think of is make sure all the connections are tight. i took off my exhaust a month ago just to get a better understanding of how it was set up, and what would be the best way to put in dual exhaust. i hooked it back up, thought everything was tight, started the car and got smoke. went under the car, readadjusted a few things, and good as new

who put it on? if a shop go back and tell them to fix their mistake, if a friend or you did it, did you make sure to get any packing material out of it?

I really don't see how your exhaust would have anything to do with what your motor is burning (Oil or Coolant)

my exhaust
Me and my dad put my flowmasters into my 87 camaro just a few weeks ago and when we started up the car it started to smoke, but it stopped after a few minutes, seems it was just burning off some of the coating they had on the pipes,
