True Duals
Took my car to an exhaust shop today. hey successfully pur true duals on my 383. Sound is awesome and not too expensive either ($273). I had called another shop and they wanted to charge me $380 for a single 3 inch. They said that this is a growing trend in Tulsa(true duals on Camaros). So far no ground clearance issues. They used two 2 1/2 inch pipes, an x-pipe, and 2 tubular style mufflers. I'll try and put pics up for anyone who wants to see.

I'd like to see the X pipe on it and also the area near the tranny , I'm going dual too, should be 2" maybe 2 1/4" , but 2" is plenty for me, i was looking at an H pipe for mine, wich should be easier an cost less to do.

Yeah, and a sound file.
I'm telling you, if an exhaust company came up with a good/affordable true dual exhaust setup for our cars and even 4ths they'd make $$$$$$$$$$$$.

I'm working on the pics. Where's a good site to host them at? The ground clearance really isn't that bad. I haven't scraped anything yet at least. And if you can tell me how to do a sound file I'll get on it.

I have tried many exhaust shops... most tell me its either too expensive or the smaller pipe wont benefit... I wanna see pics!! Also, did you run the car with the single exhaust? If so, notice a big difference in power at all?

Sorry ya'll. I just moved a few weeks ago so I haven't been able to take any pics, that and my camera needs new batteries. I will post pics at some point. BTW I actually got underneath the car to look at the exhaust system. Turns out it's not an actual X-pipe. This system is a total fabrication. The "x-pipe" is really 2 pipes that come together that the guy just cut a part off and welded them together to form a homemade x-pipe. As soon as I can get pics I'll post them.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

a guy i work with had true duals on his iroc and it only took him a week and one whole side got completly torn off on a bump. i wanted to run true duals until i heard his story.
The ones Leon's put on have been on there for a few months now and have gone over some pretty massive neighborhood speed bumps. And to be honest, looking at them I would think they would scrape, but they haven't. Go figure.
could of guessed Leon's......they do very nice work at an exceptional price....back when Okies actually had emission stickers there catallatic converter "repair" was the way to go....would like to see the pics though
off the subject for a min....since a couple of tulsa guys are posting to this thread.....whats the deal with the drags?.....Im from tulsa but going to OSU and have heard rumors that they sold out to og&e......if you know anything PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!
