Exhaust protection?

Hey guy's I don't have much experience when it come's to exhaust but I have a question.
Is there a such thing as paint applyable bye myself for headers and cat back systems? I don't have much green so im looking for something reasonable.
I have been here for a little while now and seen alot of pictures of alot of cars here and there all great but I have never seen any1 Wrap there headers? I mean the Fiberglass wrap?? Why is it a stupid idea or you guys do something better???
Sure it looks ugly but it serve's good. Any1 wraped there headers here? Can you post a picture of your Wrapping skills?

well you can buy the stuff in a spray can, however it will just burn off in time, unless you put enough on there and BAKE it on, so far mine is still on. after like 3 cans of it.
