ok so when i bought my 87 IROC i was told that it had a flowmaster exhaust system. its very loud, and sounds very deep and throaty at idle. today i decided to look underneath as i realized there was a small hole in the muffler and the letters "CVX" were imprinted on the muffler. is this a flowmaster? or something else? i am looking to get a new IROC and i want the same sound, basically the same system but i dont know what kind this is.

Hmmm, I would keep the thrush, not sure on 80 series.

 

I know Thrush and Dynomax are the same company, but wasnt the CVX catback marketed under the Dynomax name?
