Exhaust Components HELP NEEDED
My stock exhaust system bite the dust- I just got it totally removed along with the plugged catalaytic converter. I just scored a set of shorty style headers from a friend. I have just got the Flomaster 80 Series muffler for a great price. So now I need to know the following:
1. Is there a y-pipe that I can get that will fit these headers- I was told that they are the same length as the stock manifolds. I got pictures if you want them.
2. Are the stock exhaust ports on the 1991 LO3 round or square? So I know which gaskets to get.
3. Where can I get a intermideate pipe from where the cat is supposto be to the muffler. Can you make a off-road pipe out of a piece of regular 3" pipe? Or do you have to buy some special pipe?
Thanks a lot

First off we need to know what brand headers they are. Most companies make y-pipes for their headers and they don't usually work with other manufactuer's headers. The exhast ports are square, I would reccomend a good set of Earl's dead soft aluminum gaskets along with a set of stage 8 header bolts. With those you'll never have to tighten the headers back down. Dynomax sells and i-pipe that goes from the cat to the muffler, it's 3". I don't know the part number but do a search for it and you should come across it fairly easily.
