k i got true duals on my car now and i am gunna be putting a single catback on since the exhaust is leaking and i think its to small pipes on the duals. anyway question is could i use the pipes comeing from the headers and connect them into some sort of y pipe that would go into the cat?? i did a pic below so u would get what i mean. would this work just as good as a regular y pipe?? or better?

well, a y-pipe is a y-pipe, they all do the same thing...the key is you want one that flows well and has smooth bends and a smooth transition to the single pipe. i would make sure the pipes are each 2.5" in diameter.
