smoke on start up
smoke on start up
I have white smoke when I start up and that's it. It's not all the time it's usualy after i havn't started in awhile. I'm not burning oil nor am I losing any coolant. And the tempatures around here are about 78 so I don't think it's moister.
What could be causing this?

dude, it is oil, and its your valve seals. must not be too bad as you said it doesnt use oil, so its not enough for you notice when you do check it. i have been wrong before, but i dont think so this time.

It's very common on small block chevy's. I wouldn't waste any time/money in replacing the seals. Your aren't burning enough oil to worry about it. It doesn't hurt anything.
